It's quite easy Shaj. Honest. If you can read a cookbook and follow directions, you'll eventually gain experience. Then you get to the point where you can tell if something will be good just from a description.

Cookin'??? That's for girls...

Now Grillin' - That's a man's way to cook. And its easy too. There isn't anything you can't do over a grill (except bake!). Steam veggies, grill meat, grill fish, marshmallows, etc.... Hmm Good!!!

Take care boys and start up the grill,

Hey shaj,

As for the egg. It was 1969. The Microwave just hit the market, and my Dad bought one for my Mom. It was an Amana Radarrange... I wanted a couple of hard boiled eggs. So I pop them in the Microwave and hit the 2 min button. After about 30 seconds - Wham!!! Egg was all over the inside. What a mess... Egg was up the the fan opening area as well.... Like I said. My Mom was really mad. The Microwave was maybe 3 days old. I had to scrap stuff off the glass plate bottom and use cleaner to remove the egg... Yikes! Lesson learned.

As for cooking... it's easy enough. Like LBN said. Read directions, and let it rip. Or better yet. Get a girlfriend who can cook, and learn from her. That's always an ice breaker with the girl and parents. Bake some cookies or something. Then put frosting on them and her. Good stuff as I remember...

Take care, :-)

Haha, I never read instructions or manual of any sort, maybe it's not too late for me to start now.

Hey Guys,

My chip seems to run hotter and slower, no matter how hard I try to cool it. I guess it`s just getting old. So, I`m going to quit folding by this coming weekend, now that I`m up to 404 rank. See if you can replace me by then. Again, thanks for all of your help and encouragement, and best wishes for the number one team spot.

Ouch about that egg... Sorta reminds me of the time I forgot to pop the lid on a bowl of chili. Same thing, it was going fine when I suddenly hear this bang as the lid blows off from pressure. Let's just say the parents weren't too happy about that

And then apparently, according to various sources, I'm a better cook than either my sister or my girlfriend. But, I can live with that, as certainly my dad is a better cook than my mom...

And @HVAC: If you feel your time has passed, then I will post that we are looking for a new member.

So, I decided to pull the trigger on my new stereo today. Went to Best Buy first thing in the morning, bought my head unit and speakers, and then came home to start working on everything. I read all the manuals for each installation procedure before lunch, and then started to work on pulling the old stereo after lunch. I got snagged on this one screw, because the curvature of the glove box made it impossible to reach (on my van, the entire lower fascia of the dashboard comes off to get at the stereo), and then I realized how to remove the locking bumpers on the glove box to get at it. Pulled the old stereo out, and then realized that I actually did need to buy the dash install kit for the new unit...

So, I figured I would start working on the wiring harness, as I had bought one over at Best Buy so that I wouldn't have to cut off and splice the old connector to the new one. Well, turns out I bought the harness for a 98 Honda, not a 95

In other words, I had an epic fail today, and now I will probably have to wait for my dad to get off his shift at Best Buy to pick up the correct parts and then come home.
