Alright cool, good to know.
When I run GPU2 on my laptop (which has a 8600), I just put ProjecT_TimeZ right?
I'll also be running GPU2 on my Sig Rig.
So 2 instances of GPU2 on two different computers...just ProjecT_TimeZ correct?
Thanks!

Not quite, please put your sig rig GPU2 on ProjecT_TimeZ but the one on your laptop to team_folders_inc or some other name whichever you prefer. Because the points go to your ProjecT_TimeZ is counted toward the team and you are, we all are, allowed 1 GPU2 client toward the team. And so I have to take one of my GPU2 off since I've been folding for the short member for awhile now.

@Buick, 3 rigs are 2 GPU2's and 1 P4 client I set up at my old school didn't get a chance to turn off, I already told Taeric about that and he said the extra P4 is fine since it doesn't produce any respectable points really. But I'll take one GPU2 off though.

What's weird is my Total PPD is 4320, but I think on average a 9800 GTX+ gets 6000 PPD? Am I doing anything wrong? Anyways, I'll be setting up another computer around Black Friday, and start folding away on it. Possibly throw another 9800 GTX+ into my sig rig, if the price comes down enough.

Honestly I don't know how much 9800GTX+ should make but 4320PPD is nothing to yawn at. Good luck kicking it up to speed. I, too, wonder why my new 4870 produces as many PPD as my old 8800GTS 320 which is way slower. I might need to clock it up a bit though and the cold weather coming in is a compliment.

@lbn - thanks lbn, and yes, all GPU2's, viva Folders Inc.

I heard somewhere that the GPU2 Client doesn't use ATI cards to their fullest. I think only half of the stream processors are are being used. Since Nvida has CUDA, it was easier to code for, or something.

Well, I'm going to set up SMP on my sig rig some time next week.
I'll have it set up under the name Team_Folders_Inc.

Alright guys, take care!

EDIT:
Well, I'll be down this weekend, UPS guy came today, but didn't leave my case :swearing:.. Needed a signature! Anyways, I'll be moving to a new case, and should be good to go by Monday. Also - I'm climbing up the ranks...8 or so days of folding and now number 698 on OCN!

I hate it when that happens. UPS usually just rings the doorbell and runs, here.

Yeah, I still can't forgive Newegg for switching from FedEx to UPS. Around here, if you're not home to get your FedEx package, they leave a slip so you can drive to the distribution center (about fifteen minutes away) and pick it up yourself. Even though I live about a mile and a half from UPS, no such thing.
