Yep, someone over at ebay tries to steal my money and cc info, luckily I had the cc company recovered my money. Today he emailed me say what method of receiving do I want. The item I was buying from him was a repair manual. He then sent me the free version that can be found on the internet...

That sucks man.
Well I got my postbit! But it doesn't allow me to enter a team name yet We'll see about that .

Anyways, has anyone else been having problems with the SMP and/or GPU2 clients?

Hi Project,

Congrats on the post bit! You are "Official" now..

As for the SMP clients. I have one rig that has been having problems for a week now... Not sure what it is. The rig has a Quad and folds two instances of SMP, and the other instance or client is Ok.... I'm still waiting on the 2nd client to catch on! So far over the last several days, it goes to 9% and quits with errors. If I don't catch it in time, it goes longer...

As for the GPU2's. Last I knew there was going to be a "new beta" out as of November 2nd. In the past a new beta client will not load correctly giving you a past deadline error message, and you'll need to re-load the GPU2 client to get things to run. However, it may go beyond Nov 2nd. My experience from the past is perhaps a week will go by on some rigs before they stop folding...

I'm not sure now Stanford does this change over. It seems to me that they have many servers loaded up with clients like a magazine in a rifle. Each of your rigs connects to the same or perhaps different servers. As those servers are re-loaded with the new clients your rigs will stop folding the older clients and require you to interfene. Some sooner than others...

I hope this helped, :-)

I just wanted to mark this day -

As of 2:25pm EST I have tied aznchowboy650 for the most WU's completed by an active folder according to Stanford's web site.... EOC has yet to make the call or update...

I have 18,898 completed WU's and so does AZN.. That equated to 12,187,088 points.... I have to go to work, but by tonight I will have passed azn, I think... If all goes according to plan! Whew, it's been a long time coming!!!

One more goal to complete!!!

Take care guys and Fold On!!!

Ok I'm home now..

Here's the EOC record of WU's completed...

Folder ~~~ Points ~~~ WU's completed

1 Korbelz ~ 42,515 ~ 29,219

2 455buick ~ 12,212,152 ~ 18,956

3 aznchowboy650 ~ 1,113,422 ~ 18,899

4 todd_beedy ~ 506,346 ~ 15,925

5 mklvotep ~ 5,585,600 ~ 11,589

6 Chrisbgibson ~ 10,056,955 ~ 11,436

7 QMopar ~ 2,151,098 ~ 10,859

8 jrabb1920 ~ 967,945 ~ 10,515

9 nitteo ~ 5,363,973 ~ 10,453

10 K092084 ~ 3,087,505 ~ 10,269

11 Litlratt ~ 4,070,223 ~ 10,004

Now I don't know who Korblez was, but he or she "seemed" to have some trouble. They completed 29,219 WU's for "only" 42,515 points...

Here's an Amazing one:

Gorf79 ~~ 4,235,840 ~~ 2,698

Gorf79 has a 1,570 points per WU average!!! WoW!!

Now if I can just get to January 18th being in first place for OCN, I will complete my last goal...

Wish me luck!

Hi Project,

Yeah, it kinda does... I never thought I'd be here 2.5 years ago when I started folding. It was never a goal or hope. QMopar and JRabb were putting up some impressive numbers back in the day. 2,000 to 3,000ppd when the rest of us were doing 350 to 500ppd... Now one work unit does that...

Heck, I went pass 100,000 points only two years ago in October of 2006....

Haha. Triple Post.
Anyways, watch out! I might have to build a dedicated folding rig, and steal first place!
