I went ahead and sprung for the GTX260 for my PC. A Radeon 4830 for one of the kid's computer. Benchies have put it faster than a 8800GT. Then the other kid's computer will get my 8800GT. I think they'll appreciate the upgrade from a 7900gs and a 1950pro. Then, I'll still have money left over to get my wife a Zune and some clothes.

Oh by the way, I'm not folding on the GPU2 client anymore, I'm using the SMP client.

You can only use 2 cores on that CPU to fold. The GPU client counts as 2. You'll put us over our team core limit if you use all 4.

I'm not using the GPU cores, just the SMP ones.
Only 1 instance of it, so 2 cores.

I thought the smp used all 4 cores, unless you told it not to. Just want to make sure you knew.
