Well guys, we did get something changed, the cap has been raised albeit, not too much but enough to show that the mods listen to what is said, and actually change stuff.

I suggest that we don't push them, at least not over the top.
Lets see how the higher cap works out, and hopefully it will be satisfactory,

Check out the Latest update. They still aren't playing fair. Check out 9th place. That is where the new cap is set. Notice the number of people there? Then take a look at everyone's name who is showing up above that mark. Notice that the people who are allowed to produce above that cap, have been the ones who are protesting against making the rules fair, the most. Apparently being in charge of the rules has it's rewards.

You know what. I've had enough.

The first mod to read this, delete my account. I've moved my folding unit somewhere else. You guys can cheat all you want I don't give a **** any more.

Wait Nacelle--I think I'm seeing the problem. The cap only applies to those who are running GPU, quad, or PS3 folding. Well, the guys who on top there are running dual cores that aren't capped. Let's try to work this through a bit longer.

You know what its impossible to please you nacelle. You came out here and threw a tantrum about the rules. Never before have we heard a whisper of complaint from you. You demanded solutions that second, you demanded that we do what you want. We(and I helped rush it)rushed a solution to try to fix it. We promised to reevaluate this before Feb and make more changes if needed. Again everyone else likes the idea, you hate it.

If you had asked us to change it, if you had suggested changes, if you had been part of the solution...this would all be different. Instead you have publically demanded, screamed outrage, and now called all cpu folders and mods cheaters.

You know what, I wish the best with where ever you do go.

To everyone else please don't respond to nacelles inflammatory post, I don't want to see anyone else end up with infractions.

Over a simple cap which you have been folding on (without a word) for a few month now you want to have your account deleted??

Let's be rational and reasonable here Nacelle. I do not know you personally but I am sure that this is really not your true colours shining here. For someone to have given so much time and effort to folding to all just throw it away over some team competition rules that have been set since the beginning does not make much sense to me at all.

The rules have been set this way since day one (until the GPU2/Quads came in). The only way that we could make it fair to the dualies was to cap them. I have been pushing for months now to have this cap increased in the background. Nothing came out of it as they didn't deem it to be a problem at the time. Only until recently (when you complained) did anything ever come up about it again (good thing too). Life is about compromise and obviously we cannot lift the caps or place caps on everyone so in order to compromised we came up with increasing this cap. If you still aren't happy with this cap value propose a better one (2,400, 2,500, 2,600, etc.).

If at the end of the day you are still not happy with it then perhaps the team folding competition was never right for you and you would be better off power folding by yourself or perhaps start your own GPU2/Quad league

Bad? The ati client is terrible, someday if they update it, it has potential. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...hp?s=&u=357132 2late4me is folding on a 4850 and you can see his points.

Yeah it won't do as well. With one 4850, I got about 2,500 PPD, but I went back to my 9800 GTX+, I got 5000-6000 PPD.

So you might get 4000 a day if you're lucky.
