My wife is worried some, and I'm starting to loose sleep now. I've known about this for 2 weeks now. My Left main artery is 60% blocked. The nurses call the Left main the "widow maker"... It carries 70% of the blood to your heart. That's why I had some chest pains and felt tried over the past month or so....

Maybe by the time I get out of the hospital, it will be snowing here in Michigan!

Take care, :-)
Well, good luck with the surgery. I hope it goes well and you feel great afterwards, and hopefully you'll get some snow! Good luck, and take care of yourself!

Thanks again Micam!

Yeah, One more day of a pain free existence... Then open heart surgery (triple by-pass) and who knows what else...

I should have listened to my mother about eating right! All those artery cloggin' and heart stoppin' cheese burgers over the past 57 years... Not to mention donuts and pork rines!!!

Take care and Fold On!!!

Good luck with your surgery buick!

I had my bypass done on Halloween (3 weeks ago), my arteries were 80-90% blocked. Listen to your doctors and nurses, they know what helps you heal the quickest. I hope you are a patient man, healing takes months. If you try and rush things, it can set you back fast. Most importantly, don't go anywhere without your pillow for at least a month! You will understand what I mean soon after you wake up. This is my second bypass, my first one was over a decade ago and I haven't even hit 50 yet! Some diseases are truly a bummer.

If you have any questions just shoot me a PM. Sadly I've had quite a bit of experience on this topic.

Congrats

Buick, can't wait to hear from you! Hope your Thanksgiving went well!

Also, I'll be out of the game for a few days until I can figure out why it's running at 95-97C now when folding compared to 85C

Sadly he was probably still in the hospital for Thanksgiving. I was in for 5 days and that's a very short stay after triple bypass surgery. He could easily still be in there until Monday, hopefully they have good food at that hospital.

Once he gets home he will be very sore for a while. Using the keyboard is pretty painful so he may not reply for a while. Reading isn't very painful so he may be doing a lot of that. It gets pretty boring when you can't do hardly anything but sleep and eat for the most part.

I hope you heal quickly Buick but you really can't rush it. Take care and enjoy the time off while you can. I'm pretty sure you're not the kind of person that likes to sit still for very long but once you start rehab, you will be able wear yourself out if you want to.
