The little XP1600 is working on a monster Gromac core (p1811) worth 512 points and the XP1800 is working on a p2107 worth 404 points... So by the end of the week Team_Folders_Inc will have almost 2,200 points.

Thanks for the compliment though!! I couldn't have done it without you!! :-)

Hmmm, must have looked at the wrong column. Still, you've gotten several thousand done.

Hi LBN,

Well I did get a little more out of the P4 2.6C than the old XP1600+... Maybe 2,000 points more per month. When you said 50,000, I thought OMG Stanford has done it to me again...

Last month they credited me with 53 WU's in a day! Along with about 500 "extra" points, which they never recorded... Since June 19th of last month, I've lost over 800 points, with failed or in-complete WU's... I, like a lot of others; was getting anything from 1 to 30 points for those failed WU's... Really killed my average per day.

As of now, I've been getting a lot of p1607's and p1608's, worth about 56 points each.... But hey, our team is doing well and everybody, seems to be back on line.

Take care, :-)

Hey cappy,

If the computer just restarted you can set it so that fold start everytime computer starts so you don't have to watch over it.

Take care and fold on.
Hi shajbot,

Yeah it was a good deal and a real steal for a new video card. It's been running well. It's overclocked and still cool... Maybe within the next week or so, I'll try some benchmarks. Right now I'm trying to hold off "soloz2" in the folding arena. He'll pass me within the next 7 days or so and then I'll have "edge" passing me in early August or late July... Oh well.

Take care and have a great week, :-)

Just got my sata 320gb 8mb cache wd hard drive delivered after almost 2 weeks of waiting, woohooo. A little disappointed on the delivery time but absolutely no doubt about the new drive. I'll take some time off the main rig (which is folding for team_folders_inc) to reinstall windows, doing some benchmark on this drive, along with copying back all the stuff. Man, this better the last time I reinstall Windows this year, too tired of updating, installing, organizing stuff already.

I'll be off tomorrow and the day after, so take care, have a nice weekend and keep up the sizzling competition!

Hi shajbot,

That's great!! A 320GB hard drive, wow... and I agree with the - "too tired of updating, installing, organizing stuff already" - It is a pain!!! I'm having some problem with a 120Gb WD drive as well on my 2.53 P4 rig... I hope it doesn't crash! Re-starts, blank screens, freezes, etc, etc, etc... I've run scan disk and it is picking up some bad sectors now, which it didn't have before...

May have to get my Maxtor 160GB SATA drive ready for cloning...

Take care and have fun where ever you go!! :-)

I shall be leaving tomorrow afternoon for a week long camping trip.

My computers shall remain on for the week aslong as there is no problems such as power outage or internet issues. Even if there is, my brother will be home and was asked to take care of it, so we should be fine.

Have a good week guys, talk to you next Saturday!
