Hi LBN,

Good to see you! Have you checked the data sheets lately?? Team_Folders_Inc is coming hard... Might make it into the top 299 next week.

Take care and be cool, :-)

BTW Guys,

My "new" job at Lowes is going to require a lot of my time over the next few weeks. I'm training now in Muskegon which is 60 miles south of me. I'm going to stay with my in-laws for the next couple of days. I'll check in if I can..

As for the folding, everybody is doing great I think!! Our team is hanging around in the top 5 again and Team_Folders_Inc in looking good too.

I'll have my new/used P4 3.06Ghz cpu on my older M/B early next week. Won't effect the cpu numbers for the team competition, but will add more points, I hope. This will give me a 3500+, a P4 3.2 and the P4 3.06! The P4 2.6 will fold for Team Folders along with the XP1800 and XP 1600.

If I can get another older M/B somewhere for the P4 2.53 along with a cheap case, I'll get that on-line as well...

So keep on Folding and let's make the BIG push for this last weekend of July!

Oh and one last thing. I just completed my 300th "actual" WU today... not the 353 that Stanford credits me with.

Take care and have a great weekend. Summer is half way over, for you folks that go to school. lol :-)

Summer is indeed almost over. I'm going back to school in exactly 3 weeks. But I will check in often.

Hi shajbot,

That's totally awesome!! Can I say that?? Good sound out of a rig is the best thing going. Just listening to music, surfing the web and posting at overclock.net. That's the life. I've been away for a couple of days and I missed it.
Yeah some 5.1 speakers will do the trick for you. Any idea, which ones you want?? I'll help find you a good price..

As for folding. The team seems to be doing good. I'll post our numbers for the week and for the month of July tomorrow, both here and in cowboy's thread to help taeric...
Seems my little 3500+ is really kicking some b***! Next week another rig will go on line for Team_Folders_Inc. That will make it 4 for that team/group. Thanks for your add ons too!
However, I lost another Gromacs core today after 66 hours of work. I've decided NOT to allow or take any more 20,000+ WU's on any of my rigs. It's just too frustrating to loose them after so much time invested. This one had a check sum error at 13,630 frames and restarted at zero. So I killed it, un-installed FAH, and re-downloaded another WU. I got a p1809 this time... That's really good. Should finish Monday morning early...

Take care and talk to you soon, :-)

Hey guys,

Just read that the most people on line in the forums was 4 days ago or July 25th with 1007. And guess what? All of us were on, except cappy. Congrats! We are all overclock.net junkies. I know cappy is, so he must have been working or something... lol

Take care and my regards to all, :-)

Hey buick,

It's good to see you still crusing along at a very high speed. Our Team_Folders_Inc is alsong coming pretty strong as well. According to xtremeocing site, "she" is overtaking me in almost a month. You contribute big part to "her", buick. Good job! And thanks for posting our numbers to the competition.

As for the speakers, I've been too high that went on and purchase the Creative GigaWorks G500 5.1 right on that day. These 5.1 prices $215 and $25 shipping on newegg, but I got them amazingly low for $116 at circuitcity that was on sale for the weekend (with $50 yet rebated)! As for the sound card and the speakers together, it took more than couple of times reseating and reinstalling to get them work properly together, little pain but the quality worths it. Man, I thought I stole this sound system for cheap. Anyhow, my dad is happy with my old 2.1 system.

Take care and keep that att' up!

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to post the point totals for the month of July. Totals for the team and members as of 7:00pm EST from Stanford FAH stats are:

peroxide - 3623
cappy - 4632
shajbot - 5031
455buick - 12914
-------
Total - 26200

We'll probably be in the top 6 again, but who knows where. I'm off to work now and will return Tuesday night around 8:00pm... In the meantime,

Take care, :-)

Argh guys, my folding machine is quite instable after the virus attack. Apparently the virus infected it was Gaelium, basically this virus infects every exe files it could find and this machine took a big hit, now all the Windows exe files are messed up. Although it still be able to run Windows but it shows all sort of wierd stuff. Like when I start windows it automatically bring up the folding system32, when I create new folder it gives the name default as "fdks".

So as conclusion, I'll give it a full reformat soon after it finishes its current WU. And maybe the rest of the computers in my house.
