Team Folders Inc. (No members needed) - Page 54

Hi boys!

Here's the point total I gave to cowboy on his thread:

Here's the latest from Stanford for Folders Inc for the month of July. All of the cpu counts are correct.

peroxide - 3776
cappy - 5222
shajbot - 5476
455buick - 13,752

total - 28,226 for the month of July...

Great work to everybody!! I think we finished 3rd. Maybe second, I can't tell...

Take care and Fold On!! :-)

BTW - The 3.06 cpu arrived today. Sometime over the next couple of days, I will install it on the rig with the 2.53 right now. It won't change the cpu count because I anticipated this change and the 2.53B running at 2.7 is actually faster right now than the 2.6C running at 2.8 because my oldest daughter isn't using that computer all the time... The 2.6C is doing a lot of gaming and stuff, so it folds for Team_Folders_Inc...

And the 3500+ is just kicking Bu**!!! I can't believe the difference it has made this month in my totals... Maybe next month I can hit 14,000 points??? Just a couple more completed WU's would do it!

TO all of Folders Inc, including LBN,

I was just wondering about your thoughts on this proposal. According to Stanford sometime in November I'll reach the 100,000 point milestone. By the end of August I should have about 71,000 points or so and maybe 84,000 points by the end of September.

I would like to take the month of October, all 31 days of it, and have all 7 of my rigs fold for my sig - 455buick. I do NOT want to quit the team, just make a real effort to reach the 100,000 point mark sometime in mid -October. Then on November 1st return all foding rigs to their present configuration. It means the team will not do real well in the team competition in October, but will be back in full glory in November.

Let me know what you "really think", Ok?? If it's a bad idea or you just hate it for the team, I'll listen to you and not do it. Thanks in advance for being my team members and giving advice/opinion on this one.

As for Team_Folders_Inc... By weeks end there will be 4 rigs folding for it, that I will control and keep running. A P4 2.6C @ 2.8, and a P4 2.53B @ 2.7, and an XP1800+ stock and finally my little XP1600+ stock.
If you didn't notice, Team_Folders_Inc passed LBN yesterday, I think... Our group, as a total, is really adding to team 37726 as a whole.

Great Job to all, :-) Thanks for your time and friendships!

That's cool 455buick, I understand that you want your folding effort to be counted toward your name. And you deserve that 100,000 pts milestone. One month of not folding to my name ain't that big of a deal, I'll just switch to Team_Folders_Inc for the time being. After all, I'm still doing this for the fighting cancer, doesn't really matter of under whose name (but I still prefer mine LOL). So Please go ahead, you have my vote.

BTW, I thought one member of each team is to have max of 3 cpus??

Anyhow, just got brand new Canon camera with 7.1MP. This thing is so flipping sweet man, I'll be taking pictures all day.

Take care and keep that coming man.

That is true. If he wants to put a bunch more CPUs to his name, he'll have to drop out of the competition at least until the milestone is reached.

That's nice cappy...I'm just a little worry about Peroxide (2 days) and buick (5 days). Good thing they're still folding though, so they must be alright. Well, good luck and have fun, all!
