Hi boys!

Great job in October! Even with all of the team's problems with rigs, we came in 5th. Seems to be our lot in life!

As for Team_Folders_Inc. If shajbot can get his school's rigs going, it will fly up the ranks until it hits in the top 50. Then it will be slow going...

Thanks shaj for all of your effort. It isn't going un-noticed. I just don't know how to reward you... Hmmm Maybe a Big Kiss?? or

Take care, :-)

Hi cappy,

Yeah, I've been watching it closely! I don't want anymore water in the basement and the thunderstorms and lightning knock down 3 of my folding rigs for 3 or 4 hours last night. Not good...

I'll be glad when this month is over. I'll put everything back to normal and go back to gaming and using my rigs like I want too. I'm having the family hold off on using the rigs so I can get the best possible results this month as a benchmark. I'm also watching the different speeds of the rigs to see which ones are faster than others. Obviously, the XP 1600 and 1800 don't count.

So far the 3500, OC'd mobile cpu and mine are the strongest or should I say quickest, based on WU completion/frame rates. Mine however, slows down quite a bit if I game or do much work with Word or Excel on it. Oh well...

Take care and Fold On! :-)

These computers at school turn off themself after 20min inactivity...lol, will take me awhile to get all up folding properly.

Hi cappy,

Yeah I know about the power issues. I lost one rig today from the thunderstorms. I had to manually re-start it. The others are Ok, but I lost some work too! Oh well, the pleasure of living in God's country North...

Take care, :-)

Hi shajbot,

I noticed that our posts for this thread hit 666. I couldn't leave it that way, so..
Also, I posted in another thread your attempts to getting the school computers folding. You might get some fan mail! I hope you don't mind. If you do, I apologize and will edit the post to reflect your wishes. Just let me know.

Have a great day! :-)

Hi cappy,

That is lucky! Doesn't the new AMD64's and supporting M/B's have the built in thermal protection?? In the old days of Thunderbird's and XP's your cpu would have been fried. Not to mention a possible M/B that could be warped...

BTW - With Stanford's new release for the gpu folding instructions/program. I might in the near future go with an ASUS A8N32 Sli Deluxe and buy an ATI X1900XTX for it. Seems the gpu will run really strong. Like maybe 12,000 points per month... It would fit my AMD 64 3500 real nice!!

Take care and stay cool under the heat, :-)
