k ...... i guess im gonna save that $550 im getting back from the comp im RMAing from newegg with 0% restocking fee cause thats how 1337 I am

EDIT: The documents from NVIDIA also indicate that GeForce 7900 GTX will be "twice as fast as previous generation chipsets" so does that mean it is going to be twice as fast as a 7800GTX?

If this article holds true, that's very disappointing for the core speed. They really wanted 700 mhz core and the fact that it's lowered to 655 mhz shows that there's not much headroom there. Both ATI and Nvidia are really snubbing their supporters by discountinuing the 1800 and 7800 series, respectively. I feel sorry for those that bought an SLI or Crossfire motherboard and turn up empty when they decide to buy their matching card that is no longer being sold. I guess Ebay is what the companies suggest? I give both a thumbs down for their attitude/performance this year. We, as customers, deserve more than we're currently receiving for our money. Today, a top notch gpu can cost as much as the entire rest of a system's parts. If we're gonna pay that much, they should treat us like royalty.

I think they mean twice as fast as the 6800Ultra. Cause the 7800 and 7900 are both part of the GeForce7 generation.

Nope, paired with an FX60 a single 7900GTX scores ~13,000, so it is about twice as fast as a 7800GTX. Still Im disappointed in the 24 pixels per clock (known as pipelines) figure, we were all hoping for 32PPC Oh well, heres to hoping G80 will still have the claimed 48PPC when it comes out LOL, so far every card since the R520/G70 (both ATI and Nvidia) has had less pixel pipelines than everyone hoped for......

What is that evga thing where you can send back your video card and get some type of refund? How long does that go for before you can't sent it back anymore? Its called like a step-up program or something?
