Hey! Can someone answer my question on this same subject here? I read through this thread but I still don't understand which one to get. E6 or E4?

your stepping of KABQE is not necessarily bad. I've never heard of it either... so a more logical deduction is that it is a newer stepping not a bad one.

You may need to up the nForce chipt voltage along with the LDT (Mem ctrl) voltage to help with stability.
Soloz is refering to the LDT multiplyer
I have the LDT multi at 4x, that should do well even at a 260 or 270 mem freq.
which would yeild 1040 - 1080 Mhz

Didn't see a PCI setting but that should be locked anyway like Soloz Said

But the Nforce and LDT voltages I didn't mess with,
I totally didn't even think about those, I will sure give it a shot, and Thanks a million

BTW what exactly is the 'safe range' for everything except the Vdimm.

.15v above standard ????
.2v ????

I realize that this sort of thing varies from device to device.

I would sure hate to let the smoke out of something

I have a stepping of KABCE , never seen one in here , and if i google it it comes up with some european sites . I've had it to (273X11) 3003 mhz stable , and could prolly go more eccept my memory wont run a 266 divider for some reason. Has anyone heard of or seen a Kabce before ? thx
