Holy purple tomatoes I just spent all my money...

Actually, it was money I don't even have. Check out my new rig:

CPU: AMD Opty 180
Mobo: Asus A8R-MVP
Mem: 2Gb Corsair 3500LLPRO
GPU: ATI x1900xtx
Case: Antec P180
PSU: Seasonic S12 600W
HD: WD 150Gb Raptor
DVD: NEC ND-3550A
CD: Sony CRX-230EE
Sound: XFi Xtreme
Display: Dell 2405FPW
Mouse: Logitech G7
Keyboard: MS Natural 4000

The only thing on my shopping list I haven't bought yet is a set of Z5500 speakers, but given the amount of buyer's remorse I'm feeling right now, I may end up passing on the speakers for awhile.

Anyway, it should all be here in a week or so, and once I've assembled and installed, I'm going to play my hand at OC'ing, and I'll post some benchmarks.

Anybody want to guess the total $ or berate me for insane impluse buying, I'd love to hear it.

I'm guessing around $2500 not including taxes.

I think the biggest killer on that system was the monitor. I bought mine for $740, and that was a steal! The next week it went back up to $1100.
