DFI LanPart UT-SLI-DR EXpert Temps??

Thread Starter
Hey,

ok so i'm sitting here looking at my CPU temps..

it says in MBM my cpu temp is 24 (idle) and 28 (load PI 32m 5mins)

how can this be correct?? is my case soo well ventilated, and CPU cooler soo good that my CPU sits at Room Temp under load, but below room temp with load.... (unless my room is only 24C)

the other thing is the NF4 Chipset is reporting 48 before starting PI 32m, and 49C after.

Are there any known issues with the Temp sensor on this mobo?? or is the NF4 chipset and CPU temps somehow switched

something else i feel my Zalman 7700Cu and it's totally cold, the whole thing, except right at the base where i can barely feel and heat at all i need to leave my finger on it for at least 20 secs to detect any warmth.

any comments would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance
-Blair

The expert has a bios bug where temps are reported lower than they really are. Expect real temps to ne 8-15 degrees higher. This is for CPU temps. Chipset is very close to reality.

The nF4 is going to run hotter than the CPU.

It is possible to AS5 it, but I haven't done mine, Yet.

Mine chipset temp is about the same as what you have.

Those are some nice temps on the CPU, What speed are u running it ?

The lower reported temps is for the expert. Perhaps the regular DR has this issue too.

Try comparing the Temps with other monitors Everest,SpeedFan,MBM5,SmartGuardian.

My Chipset is usually 43-45c and Mobo temps are consitant with ambieant temps.

Nice setup by the way...
