Anyone voltmod a R430?

Thread Starter
Just curious if anyone here has voltmodded a R430 core and what the results were? I'm thinking about trying it following the instructions here:

http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/...voltmods/112/1

I'm tempted, but I keep hearing the R430 isn't an overclocker so maybe a voltmod won't do much (or anything)?

I voltmodded my old 9800 pro and it made a nice difference... Should I try it on the R430?

I wouldnt expect a huge boost from a V-mod on the R430, they usually top out at around 430-450MHz. What is your current overclock? You might get 5-10MHz boost.

Current OC is 425. I saw artifacts at 435 and played it safe.

So a volt-mod would only raise that 10 MHz or so? You're right, doesn't seem worth it.
