Looking good, but do not get the Zalman waterblock. Get a Maze4 or something.
Also, get it [the HC] without A/C.

looks alright, but i'm not so sure about the cpu waterblock. don't know if i would buy a waterblock for only 30 bucks. Better to spend more money and get a much better waterblock, or better yet, build your own as i am doing

There is nothing wrong with the Zalman blocks, I have one on both video cards, my chipset and my CPU and have amazing temps. My GPU's never go above 42, the chipset dropped from 52 to 38, my Max CPU temp is 34, and idles at 22. Not to shabby for low cost blocks IMO.

Most if not all American car heater cores have two different size tubes coming out of them they are 5/8 and 3/4 and need to be reduced down to 1/2 either with the use of hose reducers or by sweating (soldering) threaded fittings (best and cleanest method) to the tubes that hose barbs can be screwed into.

that is what I have got runniing, I have also used a few thermaltake big water blocks but they seem to crack in the plastic housing, I suggest to stay away from anything that is not made of steel or copper for the housing of the barbs and tension. You are much better off being heavy duty than having something that has a led in it and is glowing but could just crack at any time under the screw pressure. Also if you ever go down the TEC cooling path you don't want anything that might melt or lose its strength under a heat load. The thermaltake actually was a very good block though, it worked well for me and couldnt really see any real difference between the silverprop\hermaltake one in temps. When I was pelt cooling the silverprop pulled through on top.

Thanks Freddy, I'm thinking of doing some "experiments", and would like some reducers for temporary setups. Can you point me to a good source?

Thanks!
