This Biostar TA890FXE is amazing. I froze it with LN2 for the first time this past weekend at the August Ice Event, and it gave me an extra 750mhz over the MSI 790FX-GD70 that I was using earlier.

Having problems with the 880G+

Hyper Transfer Sync Error no matter what Overclock I use. Even default settings get the damn error. Memory was tested, CPU is fine, only thing I can think of is the power supply?

+12v = 11.9
+5v = 4.857

i've been trying to figure it out for 3 weeks now. I'm not getting flood errors anymore i just get hangups and freezes running torture tests...

Try raising your HTL speed and your NB frequency. Hope you come back with results because I would really like to know what I did to fix that part of the problem.

Idk what was causing it but seems to be gone after I did the following

Open cmd window type "sfc /scannow" hit enter let it scan.

When it's finished open another cmd window and type "chkdsk /r" hit enter press y and hit enter again. Restart and let it scan on boot up.

Takes about an hour but resolves a lot of weird issues and can help stabilize a failing oc

Any word on a Bulldozer bios update for 8xx boards? I don't wanna upgrade from mine anymore. It's such a good board.

^ Same here. My 890FXE has been solid--really happy with this board. Has Biostar said anything in regards to Bulldozer support? There's a rumor that AM3+ will support BD longer than previously thought. If true, it means compatibility with our 890 boards is even more important for us since FM2 will come later (not sure if this rumor is true by the way). Anyways, hope Biostar pledges support.

All the other board makers have already said which of their boards support BD, and they also have some BETA BIOS builds up, so this likely means that Biostar don't for some reason.

True, normal people can't get BD chips yet, and there is a slight chance that is what they are waiting for, but, it still seems odd they haven't really said anything at all.
