True, normal people can't get BD chips yet, and there is a slight chance that is what they are waiting for, but, it still seems odd they haven't really said anything at all.
Well, I emailed them. Here is the news:

"Biostar motherboards built on AM3 platform will not support AM3+ CPUs.

Meanwhile, every mobo group shows support. I doubt I will choose Biostar again, although I love my 890FXE.

Only really Asus that confirmed existing motherboard support isn't it? Oh and MSI? Although I severely doubt there support is up to scratch for BD. Gigabyte brought a new revision.

There's been another delay on the TA990FXE, we should see it in time for the CPU's to go with it. Given some of the problems I doubt you would want an 800 series board for BD anyway.

Do you know if this is more BIOS tweaking, or is there physical changes needed on the motherboard ?
If it is actual physical changes, that would explain some things on why they won't (hmm) offer a BIOS upgrade to 890FXE owners.

Not sure if it's been covered before but do we know what the Pci-e spacing is going to be like? I'm kind of hoping that 16x 16x mode will be the first white pci-e slot and red slot. I loves me Biostar, I just wish they did a bit more thinking with the pci-e spacing

Got a 980BE in a TA890FXE and at -180c and can't remember what program to use to bump base clock. Thought it was AMD OD, but it's not allowing me to move base clock.

Well, you can add me to the club. And of course, I have a simple question. In my TA870U3+ BIOS, what exactly is the "spread spectrum" setting under the T-Series settings? It is my understanding that it should remain disabled, but I don't really know what it does.

Thanks.

why would the black socket have the extra hole bottom left ish if it didnt need it?

only as that image shows there are 2 out atm and there is no way in the world they would bring out a b spec socket now unless it was needed.

you said so they can add something later, what if that later is sooner and it is for the bd chips?

ah well, we now know am3b is am3+

I just noticed that the TA890FXE has a new BIOS out, 89FAD831.BST.
