I hit 285 FSB stable before. Gappo's been saying that 300 is not an easy task with this board, but it is certainly doable.

As for max, I've seen people hit up to 350 on this board...from what I recall that is.

ive been doing some research and notice some people complaining about heat from this board... have you guys noticed the same? how's the cooling on this board?

Cooling on this board is fine. The VRM Mosfet and NB heatsinks are good enough.

Just got my TA890GXE rev 5.2 (Matx) and an X6 1055T.
Can OC'ing cause problems due to the 4+1 phase design?

Nub here, just figured I'd say 'ello. I'll be getting my Biostar 890FXE mobo on monday next week along with everything else to build my setup. I just finished reading through the thread and I'm VERY impressed at the information availible here! This is my first time really messing with overclocking etc so I'll definitely be using the resources here! Any pointers for a true nub would be greatly appreciated!

how's this board on dice or ln2 for benching?
i know nothing bout amd, know a fair share bout biostar.
love my tpower i45 and tpower i55. wouldn't mind adding one of these to the mix and doing some dice runs.
