I'd recommend anyone running a SSD use the Microsoft AHCI driver over the AMD one on Biostar's site. AMD WEI =6.6 / Microsoft WEI =7.4

I know WEI sucks....so here ya go AMD is self-explanatory MST + Microsoft.

I've been trough the BIOS a dozen times but can't find the HTlink multiplier for the love of god.
All I can find is the HTlink Speed and HTlink Width (under T-Series -> Hyper transport Configuration).
Feel like such a dummy, can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's the HT Link Speed setting that you'd use.... divide that number by 200 to get your multi....

Thanks, that explains why it steps by 200. +rep

I just changed the HTlink speed from auto to 2000mhz (10x 250fsb) wich makes my board cry. While it should be the exact same settings (see http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1643069), it doesn't even POST anymore and have to clear CMOS. What gives

Different board (TA890GXE....though very similar), CPU and memory.... so there's several variables to consider.... and no two rigs will OC exactly the same....

Sorry I was having trouble explaining but it's the same rig/Hardware.

This is done with all BIOS settings on auto except for a 250 bus speed:

- Leaving the HTlink speed on auto it works perfect and gives a 2500mhz Htlink (See CPU-Z http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1643069). So on 'auto' the HTlink is 10x

- Changing the HTlink speed in BIOS to manual (10x), wich should give a 2500mhz HTlink aswell doesn't even POST and I need to clear CMOS.

Go to the chipset menu in the bios, sata type = set to raid, F10, Press cntrl + F when prompted, Go to view LD and single drives, hit space on the drives you want to raid, set the stripe size ( I use 64K) etc, save the raid and exit.

Thanks, i'm going to try raid for the first time this weekend. just need to buy another hard drive.

also, finally fixed my freezing problem with my new ****ty video card. does the job though, its just ugly.
