FYI, the BETA version 4.43 beta 14 of speedfan does work correctly, at least, it reads the things it should.

However, as you can see in that pic, his mainboard temps look to be a good 20-30C lower than what others are getting.

I am just wondering, why does it work for some and not for others, or is this just a glitch, and soon it will start to report the wrong readings, like it does for many other people ?

Just installed my Hyper 212+, and that was a PITA to install correctly.
One of the nuts had a spur, so I had to fix that.
The other problem was, that it didn't come with the vibration absorbing foam--not that I needed it, since I only tried with 1 fan for now.

Clearance issues with 4 sticks of ripjaws was OK.

Quick test with linX shows temps @ 38C (only 1 fan), and only tried 3.6GHz right now @ stock voltage.
The mainboard temp is 64C-67C, in BIOS it shows about 29C.
The heatsink wasn't hot, I would say it was warm. Yeah, I did examine it out of the case, the contact looked good.

Altough I was satisfied with the cooling performance, the vibration of my Hyper212+ with 2 fans was so 'hard' my whole case was shaking so I replaced it.

I was looking for a new case and another oppertunity to test the Hyper212+ so I just picked up a Silverstone TF03.
I'll be trying Xigmatek, CM Sickeflow and Noctua fans in P/P to see what the vibration and temps are like.

Is your CPU unlocked to X4? Just for a comparison of temprature with mine once I'm done.

No, not yet. I did boot with X4 to see if it would, and it does, but I got to do some work on this machine before I start seeing what the X3/X4 enabling will allow me to reach.

I enabled X3, and temps only went up 2C with a 1 hour running of prime95.

I will do X4 sometime at the end of the week, and see what I get.

3.6GHz X3 (stock voltage) = 40C for 1 hour of prime95.
