RAM or Grafix Card?

Thread Starter
I think its about I spent some money on my system, especially with Oblivion coming closer. I don't want to spend to much though, so I'm split between a RAM upgrade or a Graphics card upgrade.
Which would you chose if you were stuck with my system?

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9200 SE PCI, which has just between OCed, so I'm actually fairly satisfied.

RAM: DDR-DIMM PC3200 512MB, pretty cheap but works like a charm

So thats it, if something else should be upgraded or if you think I could just OC some more, then go ahead and suggest!

yea, being able to hop it up to 2gb would be nice! man, some people have budgets though. myself. i have to buy in small amounts. i am getting 1gb of oc ram and then will increase that to 2gb in a few weeks. hopefully i can get a new mobo in the meantime too. i don't need to get a better vid card ^^ at least not until the 79's come out...

OK, thx for the input. I'll go for a 1gig module and that should give me 1.5 gig total. Can RAM be OCed?

well if you have three stix in it wont run in dual channel, so i suggest gettin a 2x1gb stick set from say gskill or OCZ... that will have best performance, but if you have a tight budget then i geuss settle for the 3 sticks...

and yes when you overlcok your computer, you raise the FSB speed which increases the cpu speed and the ram as well.... they increase together at a specific ratio....

Yeah it will oc, but the value stuff dosen't do so well, but you can try and just oc it anyase untill it isn't stable to get some added performance.
