crappy bandwidth with kn8-e deluxe

Thread Starter
I have recently gone from 3 512 sticks of kingston hyper x to two 1 gig sticks of ocz platinum and my memory bandwidth has dropped from 2500mb/s to under 1500mb/s using sandra (both piss poor scores). the memory is still locked at 333. i have tried several bios versions, (allthough I have heard a rumour that version 1.1 will let you use 400 i cannot find it anywhere), and no improvement. I just think the k8n-e deluxe is a crappy board and Asus are a crappy company for not fixing the issue.
I could have bought single channel memory but i might as well be throwing my money down the drain because i want to upgrade in the summer.

I wouldn't mind if someone just said "What do you expect with a socket 754 board"
At least it wouldn't keep bugging me
I ran memtest86 last night for nine hours and it didn't find any errors in the ram (not that i thought there was any of course.. )
And I fail prime 95 on the first test ..probably because i have dual channel memory in a single channel mobo and the board screws with my timings.
