my bios is on auto for vcore, asus probe says its at 1.696, could i reduce this to say 1.65 and lose some heat??

Are you running stock? If so...then probably. Only way to tell for sure is to try and see. Worse that happens is a crash/reboot.

yeah its running stock at mo, reason for that is i have 3 banks of 3200 ram, recently realised my mobo only accepts 2 banks of 3200. So i before i proceed in o'cing again, i wanna get my ram right.

If your running stock those Temps are way to high. Set your Vcore manualy,use the lowest possible settings that will give you good stability.

43c at the moment, its about 32c when first switched on. cpu fan at 3500rpm
