need help with TT big typhoon

Thread Starter
I bought TT big Typhoon last week and I installed and test it out with my rig and I found out the TT big typhoon doesn't work perfect for me. I overclocked my CPU to 2.4Ghz and I test it out with OCCT and here is the result. The Cpu temp idle is 40c and load is 50c it doesnt make any difference compares to my stock cpu fan.

1.536 is bit high for such a small over clock, you could probaly get away with 1.450/1.475 at the most.

Also did you use AS5 or the paste they supplied?

Lets start with the obvious questions....
1...Did you use AS5 in a VERY thin layer?
2...Is the heatsink seated properly?
next question....Why is your mb temp so hi? 44c is way hi for a mb temp. What is your room ambient temp?

you MUST have installed it improperly or didnt apply AS5 correctly.... try and reseat the heatsink, that should do it, and make sure its tightened down enough, but not to tight...
