Alright well I would go with AMD then because it'd be more future proof, as well as cheaper. Here's what you'll need
1. CPU, Motherboard, RAM
2. Case, HDD, PSU
3. Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor
4. (if overclocking: fans + heatsink)

OT: I wouldn't get 2 GTS250's. It's just not worth the hassle because you could get something better for marginally more money, plus when you upgrade you now have to buy new GPU's instead of just adding one on to your current one.

What's your budget?

budget was 700 but according to what i chose its a little more
and I know but an AMD build didn't make it cheaper when I chose AMD quad 945..with a good mobo its was more expensive since I'm buying the cpu and mobo used
just curious, i dont know, how does an AMD make it more future proof
and I went along with two GTS250's because its better and yeah i have a tight budget.
I already have the monitor, mouse, keyboard

Well I don't know what you originally posted because I could not see it, but the next gen Intel stuff will be Sandy Bridge which will use socket 1155 and 2011 (now 1366/1156) whereas it is highly likely (I won't say 100% sure because I'm not) that AMD's next gen (Bulldozer) will use the AM3 platform.

Are you planning on overclocking?
