Thread Starter
the damage is reversible right?

anyways i ran into another problem, right now i am running my pc at 2450 but whenever i start up, it says fan failed, i have to leave it in bios for 2 or 3 minutes for it to "warm" up then it boots up normaly. I have never seen this before, it is as though the cpu is "cold" and has to warm up. I have voltage at 1.425

tha is because the CPU fan failed ... it didn't start to rotate... watch out for this!! I've disabled the little woman saying that thing... (water block ) but if the fan is working then go into your configs (BIOS) and search something like Speech something... and then disable it

You guys with the DFi's sure get fast. I'm stuck at 2450 on my 3800 with the MSI K8N Plat. I want to go higher, but Win64 doesnt boot at 2500 (even with ram slower)
