V8 fit into the Antec 1200? - Page 2

Fits in my antec 300 just fine

And of course, I'll apply my core logic to this situation...

antec 300 + antec 900 = antec 1200... hmmm your case should be about 2 feet wide!

(in case anyone didn't know, the above is a joke)

LOL!!!! I also put the Arctic Extreme 5970 GPU cooler on my graphics so I hope the internal temp stays really low too. When I get back home I will test all of the tempuratures throughout my old system (CPU, GPU, internal temps). My old system has the antec 902 with a stock CPU cooler and no GPU cooler so I hope to see a pretty good gap in temperatures. The 1200 should be slightly cooler and have higher CFM than the 902 and I will also add the extra 120mm side fan.

The V8 will fit, it's just a matter of if you want the side window to mount its fan as well.

I hate to say it, but most tower coolers can't use the 1200's side case fan so you just have an open port to the world sitting there

I thought that fan mount was for cooling the graphics? Does the V8 get in the way of mount and is there no room for fan if the V8 is in there?
