Alright i found one of these on craigslist

It looks to be in immaculate condition and is supposedly only around 5 months old

What are one of these worth used?

An acquaintance of mine has one.

It's decent but has a lot of problems, however, I think that most of them can be attributed to his stupidity.

It's powerful for sure, maybe $700-800?

I see what you are saying there just for the sake of interest what has he said thus far?

I found this laptop at a ridiculous price so hopefully it will end up being a sound machine

I say it's a good deal for above poster's price. I have owned many Asus computers and computer parts, including one of their Republic of Gamer's laptops. The only problem I've ever had with it is the optical drive dying on me.

Other than that, my laptop is over a year old, still performs excellently, is cheap considering the hardware, and aesthetically pleasing. Keep in mind that it probably isn't as portable as some might want, and the battery life might not be amazing, but that's to be expected.

Sounds like you're getting a good deal. Asus is one of my favorite PC makers.

It is an extremely amazing deal...i will be able to offset the cost of the laptop to almost a half by just selling my 4870 out of my spare gaming rig and i can replace that gaming rig with this laptop

Thanks for the input thus far guys it is very appreciated and i of course am expecting the norm of "problems" that stem from a laptop of this power and size hopefully the laptop can be optimized for better battery life
