And the F3 500GB hard drive.
Sorry, looking for new stuff only on this build. Good deal on those hdd's though.
Not sure about the PSU I originally listed, so suggestions are welcomed.
Also, not entirely sure about the cpu cooler, the Athlon X4's don't get too hot do they, so the cooler I originally listed should be good, right?
The above changes look good, I suggested them after all.
The Hyper TX3 from Newegg would be fine but the Hyper 212+ from Amazon is a better cooler and costs less. It can have dual fans for a push/pull configuration (it comes with one fan) and has a backplate mounting system that is excellent. Is there a reason you went for the 785G motherboard. Why not one of the newer 870, 880G, or 890GX boards. Do you want a motherboard with onboard video for backup video? Here are my ideas.
Athlon II X4 635 + MSI 870 AM3 Mobo Combo: $169.98
shipped after MIR (free HDMI cable)
Cooler Master Hyper 212+: $29.96 shipped
OCZ ModXStream 600W PSU + Lite-On DVD Burner Combo: $49.98
shipped after MIR and code bigsave20
If you don't need onboard video that MSI mobo looks pretty good, and that combo saves some nice money. Like I said the Hyper 212+ is better and cheaper. I own that OCZ psu and it's a real solid unit. That combo makes the optical drive almost free. I hope that helps.
