u win the overkill contest 15x120 HAHAHA
i'm guessing the op would be pulling ambient temps on his cpu lol. jk.

all these huge radiators got me thinking. and maybe i'm just crazy, but aren't you going to run into a wall with multiple rads because the waterblock can't transfer heat fast enough?what i mean is, is there a point at which adding rads does nothing for temps. if the heat output from the block is being completely nullified by 2 3x120 rads why would adding a 3rd do anything?

Thread Starter
I thought people stopped posting , anyways i went with 2 rx360's. I was thinking a 1080 might be alittle to much overkill. Not like i didnt want it but it was a waste of money, i mean like i had to buy 18 gentle typhoons , that wouldve been like 200 dollars just for the fans

lol i never thought fans could be so expensive. yea 2x360s is already over kill since 1 360 could handle ur 1055t and ur 5850 just fine.

Good question. But waterblock heat transfer is independent of the number of rads according to thermodynamics blahblah. What's important is surface area and speed of the fluid.

Btw, one of the guys at RRT has a Mora2 and he's hitting 1.45v with a 920 at 4.5ghz with 70c load temps (20c+ ambient). I got a MCR320 Drive and I'm hitting 70ish with 1.39v at 4.17ghz (30c ambient). The extra rads are wonderful for taking the extra heat but it really doesn't do anything much for idle. But who cares for idle temps anyway right?
