I want to see the finished product also. I like to see what people can come up with.

Your choices for adhesives are going to be limited by your use of Acrylic (plastic)
most adhesives that will bond well with metal are not compatible with plastics
most will melt the plastic

If you were to go with all Aluminum then I would recommend something called
JB weld I haved used it a lot in the repair of diesel engines and trucks

other than can't wait to here how this works out
