It can easily achieve the other card's clocks, Most factory overclocks are meaningless.

And even if you don't overclock it, the performance difference might be ~8%

Barely any difference... If you're worried just clock the one you got to the higher clock speed of the one you should have gotten. You saved yourself some money IMO.
