45nm dualcore wolfdales should be kept under 65c for 24/7 operations
i wouldnt go over 70c for benching with a wolfdale

Either of these will work great and increase the ceiling of your e8400.

And again, 70* C on a stable system is just fine for a wolfdale contrary to the hysteria presented here.

Dirty power will grenade the chip quicker than 70* C.
