cheap GFX card for WoW

so i finished rebuilding my friends comp after his power supply dies and fried everything, except the CPU, RAM and CD drive

i just need a video card now
that can play WoW pretty well
buget is like $50-60 to most

I would personally go on ebay, and you could probably pick up a GeForce TI4xxx gfx card for around 20$, they are by far better than the lower end fx5xxx cards

I have a Geforce Fx5500 and it runs Half Life 2 pretty well some lag but i guess HL2 is a higher gfx demanding game soo idk i got mine for like $60 shipped from Newegg.com

Yea, get that FX5500, the specs requirement for WoW aren't really that high (GeForce2 series). So the FX5500 would be well over your limits.

More important? Dosen't really matter with a lowend card like that. The only way you're going to get DX9 Support is if you go $40 more and get a 6 Series.

For PCI-E, go with this

Powercoler Radeon X300SE

For AGP, go with this one. HSI Hightech Radeon 9550

Those cards will definantly handle WoW without any trouble!

Negative Gatekeeper, that X300SE may be a good card, but its got that HyperMemory crap, takes system resources. Go with the FX5500 or the 9550 as he suggested (I personally suggest the FX).

yah my friend uses my geforce fx 5500 pci on maxed out settings, the only thing that slows it down is the 2.4ghz celeron that doesen't even have 3dnow

i'm kinda still selling it for 50$ us
