How to check if a game is running DX11?

Is there a way to check if a game you are playing is in dx11? Dirt2 is what I'm looking at atm..

I believe that if the graphics card supports DX11 and if you're playing the DX11 game in Windows 7, then there's no need to worry.

But you can certainly compare your actual game play to screenshots where an attempt is being made to show DX11 in action (such as showing Tessellations in the crowd or something).

As long as you have a DX11 card and Windows 7 DiRT 2 should run in DX11. Most games that support it will - or there will be an option to change it to DX11.

I think Post-Processing can only be high on DX11, check that.

Download EVGA PRECISION and run it than start a game and in corner you should see something like this
D3D9
or
D3D10
or
D3D11
the number means DX

Afterburner does this too. However, in both cases, you have to enable the Onscreen Display functionality (aka the OSD) + enable the FPS meter and choose it to show in the OSD ... in order to see what zepyu is talking about.

This is the most definitive way to know which DX version you're running in every game.
