Hi again so im now getting gtx 480 and i have a spare $$$, should i go for 3d 120hz alien ware with 3d stuff....or wc my 2 480's and forget 3d.....

.... without a doubt, go 3D!

That's if you know your eyes can deal with that.. I have an astigmatism + my right eye's a lil' far sided.. and I don't really wear my prescription glasses.

I think you should consider what I told you.. if you have no worries about your eyesight.. then by all means, enjoy some 3D action.

watercooling is a good way forward. my GTX470 dropped 25c when i watercooled it.

have you tried the 3d glass's???? if not have a go of them. there not for me anyway would rather play it normally. i say go water

For me, 3D is nice just for some games and can use it for 2 hours max, untill it gets annoying to me and have to switch it off. Its not good for multiplayer games, as you have to concentrate more, its harder to spot something and aim (my fragrate goes half with 3D in BFBC2). Watercooling is need if you want to OC or if your PC is too noisy (it probably is, with 2xGTX480).

Id say go WC first and when you have some more extra $, go 3D.
