Is the only actual/real difference the GPU? In that case, the 5870 is better than the 5850... I must be missing something on the readout...

Oh, now I see you have a 32GB SSD or a 500GB HD... I doubt you will find that 32GB is enough space, unless you already have other HDs you are planning to include with it...

I won't even ask why someone on this site is buying from CyberPC

I had a laptop from that company a couple years ago - worst machine I have ever owned - terrible support w/hardware fault.

***EDIT, I just saw you said it's for your friend. Well convince him to build his own! Tell him about building it himself and the perks it offers!***

I had a Cyberpower PC I purchased from newegg.com a few years ago OP.

It was a very good computer, it is STILL running perfectly,no errors. Core 2 Quad Q8200, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Nvidia GT220 etc...

I actually bought it with the intent to mod. it and learn more about computers, since I really didn't no much. I installed a new video card, and power supply. Then after messing with it some more and feeling comfortable, I went out a ordered parts from newegg.com for a build from scratch.

If I were you, you should build a computer yourself. It is Not hard. You are essentially putting pieces together, like Legos.

You will be proud of your computer and the work you've done, as the computer will be your own creation, not some mass produced, over-priced, piece of plastic (Sorry mainstream computer companies).

Most people here will also agree that after you build your own, you will 99% never buy a major brand PC ever again....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
BTW, the 5870 is a better video card than the 5850, and generally gaming is heavily video card dependent, so that would be the better rig. But 32GB is small for a SSD, you would need some other drives working in conjunction.
