980x vs 1090t sales - Page 3

Seeing as how it's 3x more than the 1090 I would say it sells 10 times as many chips. They aren't in the same league performance or pricewise. 980x is a lot higher all the way around.
are you saying the 980x is 3x the performance of a 1090t because thats wrong..

and there is no way it sells 10 chips for ever 1090t that is sold..

im not being biased just because I own a 1090T but with users like me id believe that there are far more 1090T users than 980x (considering the price it's pretty obvious) dunno if it's a far-fetched esimate but id say for 10 1090t's for every 1 980x??

Being that they are binned a lot probably not, not every chip on a Gulftown wafer will have what it takes to be a 980x a lot will be taken and used at the lower end slower Xeons or Saved for when they release the lower end 6 cores.

I was saying Thuban sells at least 10 times MORE than 980X and nowhere did I say it was 3 times faster but it is faster. All but the most hardcore AMD fanboys can agree to that. If you would read I said it was 3x as much in cost.

actually you only said "it's 3x more than the 1090" you never mentioned price

if you factor in price/performance, a 1090t will rape a 980x
