Questions about NB temps....

Thread Starter
First, and dumbest: does the NB temp vary the way CPU temp does under load?

Second: if yes, is there any way to display and monitor this temp in windows, for example while stress testing.

I believe the program Everest gives NB temps, well at least for me it does. It may depend on the motherboard as well.

CPU-z's Hardware monitor is free and gives these temps too.
And NB temp can vary depending on load too, so yes.

If using CPU-Z HWmonitor, the NB temperature value should be the tmpin0 reading. It can definitely vary according to NB voltage currently set in the BIOS as well as ambient room temperature and heat given off from the CPU while stress testing.
