I am getting stuff together for the Intel build I am planning on doing this year. I have done many hours, days, weeks, of research to find the right set up for my computer. I have everything else pretty much picked out. I have the motherboards picked out. Of course I am a bit indecisive, so I figured I'd create a poll here to help my decision.

I have it down to 4 motherboards I am deciding on. I already went through everything maybe 3 or 4 times before I decided on what I wanted to choose from. Now all I need is some opinions and help. Here's what I am looking at:

EVGA P55 LE
ASUS P7P55D PRO
MSI P55-GD55
BIOSTAR TPOWER i55

When looking through a lot of mobos, I really wasn't looking for USB 3.0 or Crossfire/SLI. Not important to me. On top of that, they are a bit pricy for features I most likely will never need.

So, from these, which do you think is the best? I am looking for which is more reliable, has good longevity, can help well with overclocks.

If you don't like the choices, then don't post directing me to another motherboard. It's already been considered. If you try to tell me to go for the one that is cheaper, that's fine, but I really don't care for the price point. I just want to know which is best, or what you think would be the best in your opinion.

Thank you in advance. The votes will help in my decision.

UPDATE: I decided to go with the ASUS Sabertooth 55i.

I was really looking more towards the P7P55D PRO, but my reasons for going with the Sabertooth is because of the claimed durability, the fact that it just went on sale at Newegg this week, AND I could get a SATA 6/USB 3.0 card free, the ASUS U3S6, in case I need it down the road.

Thanks again to all that helped. The hardest part is over.

*Edit*

I take back what I said. The Tpower i55 is a sketchy piece of hardware.

What is your budget? Around 175 max since thats the price of the Biostar?

I would replace the MSI GD55 with the MSI GD65. I have the board and it's been nothing but solid for me. Overclocks well too with my 750 if you plan on it.

The p7p55d are proven clockers, Know somebody who has 4.4ghz stable 24/7 on one. I would personally go for that or the Biostar.

If I was worried about budget, then I wouldn't have selected any motherboards.

I do like the layout of the Biostar. I also have great experiences with MSI boards. How's EVGA as far as quality?

Hmm yeh, It would be a good idea for him to save some money and get a higher end board - But there is no need for a UD7 at all unless he needs the extra pci lanes.

Like stew said - The evga p55 ftw is a great board, Maybe the P55 GD80, p7p55d pro, GA P55/A UD5/4.

The EVGA P55 FTW seems a bit overkill to me. The LE is about right. People tend to like EVGA.

Of course the super high end boards are a bit too much for me price wise. They also have features I won't really capitalize on.
