i5-650 stuck at 4.1Ghz

Thread Starter
So I'm pretty new to overclocking so I have happy when I got my i5-650 over 4Ghz.

however, my idle temps are around 35-38 and I would like to push it a little harder.

i was shooting for 4.3Ghz and (through a lot of trials) got it to boot at 1.4v but when I ran Prime95 it only stayed up for around 8 minutes until my system froze.

I dont feel comfortable taking the voltage any higher but I also havent changed any settings besides the bus speed and the voltage.

my mobo is an EVGA H55 (123-CD).

I hope I havent hit a wall with this but if you have any suggestions they would be appreciated

Thanks

Yes make sure your load temps are in check before continuing and you might have to increase VTT instead to continue.

I managed to get mine up too 4.21 (24/7 OC) with the voltage at 1.336. For cooling I got an H50 (it's the same as an H50, just different brand). Here is my proof/settings:
