Is 4ft of heatshrink enough for one PSU?

Thread Starter
I'm new to sleeving and already ordered my techflex clean cut sleeving. Now I need the heatshrink and wanted to know, would 4 feet be adequate to unisleeve my PSU? If not, how much is enough? Thanks!

Usually a kit for a PSU is:

10' of 1/4" sleeving for power connectors
-5' of 1/2" sleeving for ATX connector
-3' of 1/2" heatshrink for power connectors
-1' of 1" heatshrink for ATX connector

and others, if I didn't state them all please add on

That should give you an idea of how much you'll need, depending on if you got more/others.

When I started a sleeve job on my computer I bought 200ft of clean cut and 25ft of shrink wrap. I'm 80% complete and I have used approx 75% of the material.
Of course it depends on how you go about installing the sleeve material. I'm personally working towards every wire being sleeved.

Good rule of thumb is for every 100 feet of sleeving you use, you'll use 10 feet of heat shrink tubing.
