Hmm 1gb DDR2? Sorry to say but you got ripped off, a 512mb DDR3 would be much better.

Looks like a plain-jane 3850 to me.The fan may not be great, but plenty of OEM boards can be like that, especially considering it wasn't the top-end card and probably didn't need high-end cooling. It's also not that unusual for that time to have an OEM cooler that didn't cool memory --I mean, look at the "egg" cooler for the 5750 OEM of today, it doesn't cool memory either.

somehow it stays in the low 60's while playing cod:mw2 maxed out.

Runs the same in all other game as well, BC2, SC: conviction. Temp doesnt drop too much at idle though. maybe 8C tops between idle and gaming.
