Thats a very strange card. I just sold a Sapphire 3850 256MB. Those things are little beasts really. What would annoy me is its made to look like a 5000 series card. Mine had two DVI ports. Mine looked exactly like that:



The PCB looks too good to be a small operation, they must have made loads.
The PCB wasnt made by AMD, it would have been branded so.

I heard a story once that the people who worked in Nokia phone factorys would wait till after work and while no important people were around they would make there own Nokias, take them for themselves and sell them. This seems like too bigger operation for that sort of thing to be happening though.

The PCB looks kinda of empty compared to other HD3850 PCBs.It could be a model that was never released.But more probably its a "home-made" card.
