Iphone 4 vs HTC Evo Processor - Page 2

the Hummingbird core seems about the same as Snapdragon, both devices feel crisp and snappy with either, so I think they share the same performance bracket. I don't really worry to much about that since clock for clock doesn't matter as much as much as how the parts are integrated together on the SoC.

honestly, I've have the Evo 4G and it is very.... very powerful. This is my Third Android *g1 and Sprints HTC Hero* and my god. I have yet to see any lag in any of my multi tasking or screen switching. Also, with it's ability to use the HDMI port to show 720 videos on a tv, that takes a bit of processing power. Considering the snapdragon Processor has proven it's not only powerful enough to do that, but do True HQ Flash, and REAL multi tasking. I just seriously doubt that Apple will clock their A4 up due to battery life.
A4 is out too, I have one in my iPad.

I don't really care which processor is faster. The Evo processor could be 3x faster than the 4giphone. It isn't going to matter if the Iphone turns out to run smoother and switch between apps faster.

for heat and battery issues they just might.
