Help overclocking this setup?

Thread Starter
I had a friend a while back overclock my PC settings. I tried installing Windows 7 about a month ago, the process didn't go to well, and somehow during it all, the damn BIOS reset all my settings. Now my pc is actually getting BSOD's every now and then. I am no longer in contact with the person who tweaked my BIOS settings originally for better performance so i was wondering if anyone here would care to help. Here are my system stats. Notice there is some discrepancies between some of the RAM stock timings :

find and download the MOBO bios from the manufature's website, and flash it, reset to default, and follow the Overclocking Guide found in AMD or Intels forum section.

sorry i cant help you more, but it seems someone messed up your BIOS, and it would be best to start fresh, and the guides are very well made, and easy to follow, if you have any questions past this, ask on this thread, ill try to help you out.

Welcome to OC.net too

Should have reset your BIOS before upgrading.. Just take your motherboards battery out for a couple of min to reset it and update the BIOS version through the manufactures website.

Having your system OC in windows XP can possibly be different than in Windows 7. After you are able to boot then I would start a new overclock.

Yes reset CMOS first and then learn your BIOS and how to set it up properly. That is the heart of your machine.
