Wii through PC:

Thread Starter
If this has been asked before, my bad. I searched around for a bit, and did not find any prior posts.

I have an ATI TV Tuner card on my PC, which I want to use in order to play my Wii through my PC.

I have all of the necessary hardware. However, I don't have a way to view it. I know that Windows Media Center does not have much support for composite input, and there are lag issues. I'm looking for a substitute program.

Any help would be appreciated!

No matter what you use, there will be some lag - it's simply unavoidable.

You may hope to get that down to 1 frame of delay, but that's probably not practicable.

I understand SOME lag, but WMC has too much to be practical.

It can be done, I've seen people with the right software, but none that are compatible with the ATI card.

Any time I've used a TV Tuner of some sort to play games on my PC I used DScaler
http://www.dscaler.org/ I never saw/felt any lag all depends on what the tuner is doing
I suppose but yeah try this out good luck!

Edit:: I just read that the ATI All-In-Wonder does not work not sure what you have?
but as far as I know everything else does and don't confuse the TV wonder with it.

Yeah, I have the TV Wonder.

Interestinggg. Do you use DScaler in coordination with anything else, or alone?

I use Gamebridge and the video doesnt lag only the audio input, so I just hook the audio straight into my speakers and its synched correctly.

Dont know why its so much online, it was $15 at Walmart when I got mine.
