the fishing industry will have to either relocate and fish elsewhere on earth or stay, become educated in toxic waste disposal and be paid by bp to cleanup their mess.

the fisherman and residents should be slightly compensated but they do not deserve a golden ticket.

If BP sinks, thousands and thousands of people lose their jobs.

And there will be even less competetion in the fuel industry.

Same can't be said about those local fisherman and businesses that rely on those waters. There are many corporations like BP, but there is only one gulf of Mexico.

There should be a change in policy but BP should be a scapegoat for incompetence. If that change in policy requires BP to go under then so be it.
BP going under would cause a huge amount of problems, that is not a viable solution to anything.

I read that the leak is 15cm in radius. Ridiculous if it's true.

I'm just wondering if it will ever be a good idea to but their stocks. I'd imagine lots are holding on, though, because they know in the end that oil and oil companies are SO NEEDED BAR NONE that this ultimately wont matter for the company.

We'll probably just bail out the recovery efforts since BP can't foot the bill themselves :/

Stop ruining my plans! I almost pulled it off with Ford but they just missed my buy in point.

BP might not be a bad investment right now if I had the spare cash. I doubt they are going under.

BP has put more effort than they should have into this. This is what the Government is for... Not for bailouts and Universal healthcare.

Some of you just say "BP SHOULD GO UNDER" and imply that they did it on purpose?
