New 2 OCing Pls Check My Work

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,
I have never oc’ed before but I now have good airflow and a little wc in the case, so I think I can try to oc safely now.

I have NO IDEA what I am doing. I came up with the FSB Freq number so I could go to 3.5GHz. I didn’t think that was too much of a stretch from the stock 2.8.

But please feel free to be brutally honest I would rather have hurt feelings than a hurt rig. I have also included some shots of CPU-Z that my help answer any questions.

I would appreciate it if you could check my work before I try and put it into the bios.

Gigabyte EP45T-USB3P board
8Gb of Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C7

Things I think I know to do:
Go into advanced bios and set these things.

CPU ratio = 9.0
FSB Freq = 389 = 3.5GHz clock
Dram Freq = 666 (I’m really don’t think that’s right though)
Command rate = 2T (Again lost here)
Timing Control = set to Manual then set 7-8-7-20
Vcore Voltage = 1.13-1.36
FSB Termination Voltage = 1.42 (Have NO clue even what this is)
Dram Voltage = 1.65 (according to my memory but I have heard 2.2?)
N. Bridge = 1.41
S. Bridge = 1.150

Possible stuff:

I also heard that if I have these I should disable them.

CIE
CPU TM Function
Vander Pol Tech
Execute Dis Bit
Max CPuid Value Limit

As always thank you in advance for any help.

You need to read the stickies in the cpu forum lobby.
Well Since this is your first time oc'ing
I would leave everything on auto but
PCI ratio change it from auto to 100mhz
try your 389 fsb
Leave all the voltages on auto Exept your memory
Look up your memory and set your voltages according to their max spec
Like right now my memory is set to 2.0V and max spec is 1.8-2.1 ish according to gskill.

turn off C1E
EIST

Play with your settings... READ READ READ
